Sevastopol, like the Republic of Crimea, will prepare proposals on measures to support the tourism industry

Head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova paid a working visit to Sevastopol. She held a meeting with representatives of the tourism business and city authorities.

In addition, in Sevastopol, Zarina Doguzova visited the Great Sevastopol Trail, examined the construction of a yacht marina in Balaklava, and got acquainted with the concept of a tourist and recreational complex on the North Side. The head of Rostourism also held a working meeting with the participants of the Sevastopol Terroir project, which includes 34 wineries — of them accepted this year. During the meeting, a direct dialogue took place with local winemakers — a number of issues were discussed, the solution of which is possible only at the federal level.

Sevastopol is a city of active, enogastronomic, cultural and educational recreation. We are seeing many new projects in tourism, including investors who have begun to invest more actively in the development of tourism. Our task for the future is to make Sevastopol even more accessible and comfortable in terms of infrastructure. First of all, we will contribute to the emergence of new hotels, routes , — said Zarina Doguzova.

As Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko emphasized, tourism is one of the key areas for the development of the region. It was possible to discuss with the head of Rostourism the further development of the city’s tourism industry, namely, the inclusion of a part of the Great Sevastopol Trail in the interregional national tourist route of the Crimean peninsula.

Over the past few years, thanks to the support of the President, the Government of Russia and the Federal Tourism Agency, new programs have appeared that allow the development of priority industries in the regions. Of course, this is a tourist cashback that has increased the availability of recreation in Sevastopol. Also, on behalf of Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, we took part in the Rostourism competition and received grants, thanks to which entrepreneurs will be able to develop the city’s tourism infrastructure , — said Maria Litovko.

As a result of the visit of Zarina Doguzova, a number of decisions were made. In particular, to create an interregional national tourist route, which, including in Sevastopol, will include a section of the Great Sevastopol Trail. Also, together with the head of the Federal Tourism Agency, a working meeting was held with the participants of the Terroir Sevastopol project, where they discussed the future of the Wine Road.

In addition, during her visit to the peninsula, Zarina Doguzova said that in August Rostourism would launch a new sales window under the tourist cashback program. This will be an additional economic incentive for autumn holidays on the peninsula.
