Sevastopol Marines were awarded medals “For Courage”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Sevastopol Marines of the Black Sea Fleet, in accordance with the decree of the President of Russia, were awarded medals “For Courage”. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this today.
He received the Medal “For Courage” for the successful completion of tasks by the unit in the village of Rabotino. An officer’s medals and awards are the merit of his subordinates. Thanks to the actions of my subordinates, I was also awarded— said the commander of the Marine Corps company with the call sign “Sedoy”.
For several months now, military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet Marine Corps have been successfully fulfilling their intended missions, preventing the possibility of the Ukrainian armed forces landing on the left bank of the Dnieper and the penetration of enemy DRGs deep into the territories of new Russian regions.
Before the redeployment, a separate marine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet successfully carried out tasks as part of a group of troops in the Zaporozhye direction. It was the Black Sea Marines who met and repelled the summer “counter-offensive” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Rabotino area.
