Sevastopol notaries handed over a drone suppressor and detector to a unit of the Russian Black Sea Fleet
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The President of the Chamber of Notaries Olga Kalenkovich handed over a drone suppressor (anti-drone gun) and a drone detector, purchased at the expense of personal funds of notaries and lawyers of the city of Sevastopol, to military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
A drone detector is a portable device designed for use in urban areas and in the field, the principle of which is based on detecting a signal from an unmanned aerial vehicle and alerting it with an audio signal. Such a device can be attached to a soldier’s body armor; it is quite light and compact. Does not interfere with movement and is resistant to damage.
An anti-drone gun is essentially a directional antenna capable of suppressing the control signal of a drone (aircraft). Once within the range of the anti-drone gun, the drone loses contact with the control source and is thus rendered harmless.
We hope that the presence of these modern devices in a combat unit will save the lives of our military personnel, and their children will save their fathers! — Olga Kalenkovich noted, handing over the devices to a representative of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
