Sevastopol now has a cadet corps of the Investigative Committee of Russia
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the desks of the cadet corps of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Sevastopol sat down 54 cadet — 54 boys and girls, including 54 orphans and children left without parental care. In addition, three cadets are guys who arrived from the territory of Donbass. Also among the students there are children whose parents were injured while participating in a special military operation.
It is important that the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, decided to establish a separate cadet corps named after Vladimir Ivanovich Istomin in Sevastopol. Special thanks to Timur Vadimovich Ivanov and the military construction complex of the Ministry of Defense, who built a high-quality facility in a short time. In addition, in the course of the work, very important things for the city appeared: a new gas modular boiler house instead of a coal one, which used to be here and heated the microdistrict. And of course, the most important thing is that our wonderful children, cadets, Sevastopol, children left without parents, children from Donbass will study in such a wonderful educational institution that will be filled with the spirit of patriotism, love for the Motherland, love for Sevastopol. This is a significant event for everyone , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes.
The building for the cadet corps was built according to the Federal target program. The Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Main Military Construction Directorate No. 4» and the State Institution «Unified Directorate of Capital Construction» were involved in the construction. Military builders met the deadlines and fulfilled all the conditions of the contract, preserving the unique historical appearance of the boarding school No. 3 that was located there earlier.
Our cadet corps are distinguished by the fact that they are engaged in early professional orientation of children in the professions of an investigator and a forensic investigator. We do not require them all to enroll in our educational institutions or choose their own path in the future, directly related to the investigative committee. At the same time, we give them the opportunity to get acquainted with this profession and make the right decision for themselves: whether they are on their way with us or not. We have special additional programs. We have a forensic testing ground. The guys have the opportunity to meet with our current employees, who directly introduce them to their profession in practice , — says the head of the educational work department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Hero of the Russian Federation, Major General of Justice Sergey Petrov.
The cadet corps was erected in record time. Its infrastructure includes: an educational building for 15 classes, residential building for cubicles (for 5 people), a dining room for 54 places (meals in 2 shifts), administrative building with offices for employees and teachers , museum, conference hall, library. All rooms are equipped with furniture, office equipment, classrooms — desks, interactive whiteboards, projectors and other modern equipment. There is a park on the territory. In addition, for the physical development of the children, the project provides for a sports and recreation complex. It is almost completed and will be handed over in the near future.
We have tremendous experience — we built, among other things, the Nakhimov School in 2014 in Sevastopol. Therefore, at the request of Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, with the consent of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Ministry of Defense began the construction of the above facility. There were certain difficulties, given that there are architectural monuments here — a historical heritage that we treated as carefully as possible, you can see that we managed to save even trees, ”said Timur Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.
During the opening ceremony, «Parcels of kindness» were handed over to servicemen 15 of the 1st Guards Airborne Troop — Assault Order of the Patriotic War of the Don Cossack Regiment of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Federation, participating in a special military operation. Parcels were collected by cadets, corps employees and volunteers of the headquarters «We are together — Sevastopol!». In total, about a ton of cargo was collected.
