Sevastopol Park “Fedyukhin Heights” invites you to “Winter Stories”

Until January 7, the “Winter Stories” program is being held at the Fedyukhin Heights living history park in Sevastopol. This is reported by Tourist portal of Crimea. Guests will be shown a 10-pound artillery mortar in action and will be taught how to cast bullets and mint coins. You can also shoot a bow and look at the costumes and weapons of different eras.
According to the park, “Winter Stories” will take place on the indicated days from 10:00 to 16:00. The program will cover several locations at once: the fortification museum of the Crimean War, a historical shooting range, the Italian estate “Loco Chimbali” and an information center.
There will be tours of the museum dedicated to the events of the Crimean War, including the first defense of Sevastopol, every 30 minutes. In addition, at this site, visitors will be shown a shot from a 10-pound mortar, an artillery piece with a short barrel. Starts at 11:00, 12:30 and 14:00. There will also be a master class on casting bullets. They can be taken home.
Introductory excursions are also planned around the territory of Loco Chimbali, a recreated Genoese estate of the 15th century. Frequency: every 30 minutes. Here they will also organize a master class on blacksmithing and teach you how to mint coins, which you will take with you as a gift. And the information center will invite everyone to an exhibition of historical costume and weapons.
