Sevastopol plans to reorganize the press distribution system
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The function of distributing printed materials in the region will be transferred by the Government of Sevastopol from the State Unitary Enterprise “Agency “Soyuzpechat” to the Sevastopol State Unitary Enterprise “Management Company of Wholesale and Retail, Trade Complexes of Sevastopol” (GUP “UK ORTK”), subordinate to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Market of Sevastopol.
The enterprise will be engaged in the modernization of the existing retail network and increasing the efficiency of all related business processes. Newspapers and magazines will continue to be distributed at traditional points of sale, in addition, the new management plans to expand the existing network of kiosks. It should be noted that, in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 485-FZ of December 27, 2019, the reorganization of state unitary enterprises is taking place throughout the country and should be completed by January 1, 2025. According to the plan currently approved in Sevastopol, by this date, according to the law, only energy supply organizations and monopoly enterprises will retain their organizational and legal form: State Unitary Enterprise Sevelektroavtotrans im. A. S. Krupoderov and State Unitary Enterprise UK ORTK. In order to leave control over the distribution of the press in the region in the hands of the state, a decision was made to transfer all the functionality of distributing printed products from Soyuzpechat to the Sevastopol State Unitary Enterprise UK ORTK— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol reported.
Let us recall that the decision to liquidate the legal entity GUP S «Agentstvo Soyuzpechat» was announced during the report on the work of the Government of Sevastopol for 2023 in the Legislative Assembly. On August 20, this decision was approved by the Government of Sevastopol and the day before it was published on the official website of the Government.
Reorganization of state unitary enterprises is a requirement of the law, as is ensuring the availability of printed publications for citizens. In order to optimally solve two problems, a decision was made to transfer the function of distributing printed products to the state unitary enterprise «UK ORTK». At present, part of the staff of «Soyuzpechat» — kiosk operators — have already been transferred to this organization. We will assist employees holding administrative positions in finding employment in similar specialties— notes the head of the Information Policy Department of Sevastopol, Alexander Nazarov.
