Previously convicted of robbery and robbery, a 34-year-old resident of the Republic of Crimea, evading serving a sentence of imprisonment, committed another serious crime in Sevastopol and fled to the Tambov region.
It was established that at night, while being near a public transport stop on Gorpishchenko Street in Sevastopol, the attacker noticed a local resident passing by. Since the suspect was experiencing financial difficulties, he decided to attack a passerby and steal his property. For this purpose, the man took a knife out of his pocket and began to threaten him with violence, demanding that he hand over his existing material assets. The 24-year-old victim, fearing for his life and health, gave the raider everything he had with him: 25 thousand rubles, a mobile phone and a box of pizza.
Realizing that he had again committed a serious crime, and not wanting to serve a sentence for previous criminal adventures, the attacker fled to the Tambov region— said the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
During a business trip, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nakhimovsky district, in cooperation with colleagues from the Tambov region, detained the suspect and took him to Hero City.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”). The sanction of the article provides for up to ten years in prison. The defendant was taken into custody.
