Sevastopol police refute false information published on the Internet
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In one of the major Telegram channels, and later on the Internet sites of several media outlets, information spread that a coordinator of Ukrainian strikes against the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation was being sought in Sevastopol, and camouflaged cameras aimed at warships were found on his balcony.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol reports that this information is not true — the supposedly disguised cameras indicated by representatives of the media and the blogosphere are actually lighting elements.
The Sevastopol police urge media representatives and administrators of communities on social networks to carefully check the information received from unofficial sources, contact the press service of the department for official comments, and also prevent the publication of information that does not correspond to reality and misleads citizens.
