Sevastopol presented the physical education and recreation complex «Spartak»

The solemn opening of the first in Sevastopol FOK with a boxing hall took place on February 23. The new sports complex on Vakulenchuk Street is designed for training professional athletes and regional boxing competitions.

The governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Podvozhaev emphasized that the opening of the Spartak sports complex is a new page in the history of Sevastopol sports.

This complex, with its modern equipment and excellent infrastructure, is designed not only to prepare champions, but also to educate real people. Here, among the ring and shells, not only sports skills will be laid, but also such important qualities as discipline, will to victory, the ability to overcome oneself, — The press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Governor of the city.

Sports halls are equipped in the physical education complex: the boxing room and the general physical training hall, which contains the cardio and power zone, as well as the zone for aerobics and gymnastics. For visitors, the lobby-foye, wardrobe and restrooms are equipped. Also in Spartak there is a first -aid post, a firefighting security room and staff rooms.

In the new sports complex, 15 trainers-teachers will work with the guys. In the future, Valentina Pyankov, master of sports of Russia in boxing, participant in a special military operation, is expected here as a coach. At the opening of FOK, it was presented to the guests by Mikhail Razvozhaev:

We talked with Roman Kulakov, our hero of Russia, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly. He said: «Valentin Yuryevich — boxer, was part of the Sevastopol sports world, arrived at the front, got into my unit, performed feats.» Now Valentin Yuryevich is recovering after a wound and in the future plans to return to sports. We are waiting for him here at the Boxing School — so that the young generation is brought up. We will help him with all its might so that he can grow and educate as many patriots as possible.

I want to wish the children only one thing — what I remembered at the front: to be real, dream, set myself the right goals. Remain always the same real, open, sincere— said Valentin Pyankov.

The physical education and fitness complex entered the structure of the «Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 4 for Boxing.» In the future, a training base for our athletes will be located in the new building.

Spartak is not just a sports object for us. After all, Sevastopol boxing, our sports school is a big family that has found a new house. I am absolutely sure that with such a powerful training base we will bring many awards to the city — both in the Russian and international arena— emphasized the director of SSHOR No. 4 for boxing Oleg Balandin.

Mikhail Razvozhaev especially noted the successes of Sevastopol boxers:

Our boxers: Elena Gapeshina, Israfil Islamov, Vusal Aliyev, our young Anastasia Tyunina and Ivan Romanchuk — this is the pride of Sevastopol. Their victories are a fruit of not only talent and persistent training, but also faith in themselves, in their city, to their country. They are an example to follow, they are those who inspire young people to achieve, who, by their example, shows that labor, determination and patriotism lead to the vertices. I like one phrase: “There are no losers in the box, because if you are in boxing, you are already a winner!” Let this complex become a forge of new champions.

During the competition, Spartak will be able to accommodate 115 athletes and 150 spectators.

Now on Vakulenchuk Street there is the construction of a Dubler road leading to new social facilities-Foku and two kindergartens. This road will have two stripes, two -meter sidewalks and a noise -protective screen that separates it from the main carriageway. Now the specialists of WAD JSC are completing the reconstruction of all communications, then they will begin to arrange sidewalks, replace outdoor lighting, improvement and landscaping of the territory. The object is planned to be handed over in 2025.
