The citywide project «Lessons in Parks» is being held in Sevastopol for the fifth time. During August, anyone can learn acrobatic rock-n-roll, boogie-woogie, breaking, aesthetic gymnastics, wushu and dance sport on the territory of Victory Park. Classes are held at the central fountain every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 to 20:00 until August 25. You need to bring a hat, comfortable shoes and water.
The project has been running for five years now and has consistently been popular with Sevastopol residents and visitors to the city. I would like to emphasize that to ensure safety this year, no more than 50 people can participate in the event at a time. I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that shelters are located within a two-minute walk from the venue: at 23 Admirala Fadeeva Street, buildings A, B and V. I invite Sevastopol residents to join the project, become healthier and more athletic, but at the same time not to forget about safety. – the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the sports department, Sergei Reznicenko.
Open group training classes and master classes are intended for all age categories. Every year, the classes gather dozens of children, parents, grandparents, who enjoy attending the lessons.
Since last year I have gained ten more little students – this age was four years old. But this is the most convenient age, because these children hear you, listen to what you say and try to completely imitate everything that you explain and show, – says the trainer of the Sevastopol Wushu Federation, Daria Dernova.
The organizer of the project in our city was the Sevastopol Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll Federation. The organizers note that interest in the sports that are presented in the classes is steadily growing.
For five years, every summer, different parks of the city of Sevastopol have been welcoming our project, and «Lessons in Parks» are steadily gaining momentum. This project began in the city center, then migrated to Komsomolsky Park. After that, we settled in Victory Park. The main goal of our project is the maximum involvement of our youth, residents of Sevastopol, and guests of our city in an active lifestyle— shares the organizer of the project “Lessons in Parks”, the president of the Sevastopol Federation of Acrobatic Rock and Roll Mikhail Kozakov.
