Sevastopol has become one of the regions of Russia that has achieved the best results of the national project “Safe Quality Roads”. Today at Transport Week 2023, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin awarded the city with a symbolic road roller.
Sevastopol this year showed a really fast pace of road work: 217 objects with a total length of 91.5 km were repaired, including five bridge structures. Thanks to the early completion of the work, Sevastopol was allocated an additional 600 million for 2023 to repair those roads that were planned to be repaired under the national project in 2024 — and these funds have also already been fully utilized— told Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
“Transport Week” is the main business event of the country’s transport industry, within the framework of which all-Russian and international events are held on the development of road transport infrastructure.
