During the training session, rescuers worked on practical skills in moving along vertical railings using standard mountaineering equipment. All tasks assigned to rescue units were completed in full.

To avoid needing rescue assistance, follow safety precautions. Before going on a tourist route, you must register with the relevant search and rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Rescuers recommend that tourists heading to the mountains, even for just one day, carefully study the safety measures in the mountains:

— first of all, take the choice of comfortable clothes and shoes seriously – among the things that you need to take with you, there must definitely be warm ones;
— you need to have additional power sources for your mobile phone, a flashlight, and preferably a GPS navigator;
— when moving, you should choose the safest route, even if it is longer;
— before starting to move, you should carefully assess the possible dangers, taking into account weather conditions and the likelihood of obstacles;
— you need to move only in a group, without allowing it to split up, the pace of movement should be determined by the weakest in the group;
— You should not shorten the route at the expense of safety and you should not make crossings in poor visibility or at night.

If an unforeseen situation does occur, you can call rescuers by phone: 112, +7 (8692) 54-33-97, +7 (978) 062-46-11.
