Sevastopol resident — Hero of Russia Roman Kulakov — is undergoing training in the “Time of Heroes” project
CrimeaPRESS reports:
I dreamed of becoming a military man since childhood. I always loved watching films about the Great Patriotic War, saw how veterans of the Chechen War and the War in Afghanistan returned, and talked a lot with veterans of the Great Patriotic War. I looked at them, listened to stories about the Second World War, and my heart was filled with pride— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the man.
In the special operation zone, Roman served in intelligence. For the successful completion of tasks, he was awarded the highest state award — the Gold Star medal.
This Hero Star does not belong only to me. It belongs to my guys, with whom we carried out tasks in the special operation zone. All six fighters fought there heroically. So this result is not only mine, everything turned out thanks to my unit. My boys stood there until the end and did not allow the enemy to break into our defense. In this battle I was seriously wounded, my comrade evacuated me. Everything is fine with him, despite the fact that literally after a short period of time he was also seriously wounded“, notes Roman.
A participant in the special operation noted that there was unconditional support from the rear on the front line.
We are all moving in the same direction, we are all forging Victory: not only those who are on the front line, but also those who are in the rear. Some weave mask nets, others help with food, equipment, and uniforms. Our army provides us with everything, but additional resources always help. And the most touching thing is children’s letters. It touches your soul when, say, Kolya from 3rd grade writes that he is proud of you, how he respects and loves us all, and says thank you for defending the country. When you read such letters, you take pride, and you begin to understand even more why you are fighting there.says the soldier.
Now Roman Kulakov is taking part in the “Time of Heroes” program, which is being implemented by the Academy of National Economy and Civil Service on behalf of the President.
The training program is very rich, intensive and interesting. There are 83 of us in the first cohort. We recently completed an expedition to the North Pole as part of our training, during which we worked daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. And thanks to the training, I personally met the President. Vladimir Vladimirovich inquired about the conditions of our training. He clearly indicated that he relied on us as the closest personnel reserve for the administrative structure. The meeting with the national leader certainly gave additional strength for learning.me,” he says.
Let us remind you that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: official housing or compensation for rental housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and others.
To enroll in military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: autobiography and application form (the form is posted on the website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificates.
The selection point is located at st. Kommunisticheskaya, 3a, phone: +7 (8692) 22-14-51.
