Sevastopol resident Leonid Rubel won the All-Russian judo tournament in St. Petersburg

On the eve of Victory Day, at the St. Petersburg comprehensive school of higher sportsmanship, the Association of Judo Veterans of St. Petersburg held the XXIV All-Russian judo tournament among veterans and youth teams, dedicated to the main holiday of the country.
Athletes from youth teams of St. Petersburg universities took to the same mat with judo masters, demonstrating their skills and enriching themselves with the invaluable experience of older generations. Master of Sports of Russia distinguished himself in veterans’ competitions Leonid Rubel from Sevastopol, who became the winner in the weight category up to 90 kg among athletes aged 50-60 yearsnotes «Crimean sport».
Let us recall that Leonid Rubel is a two-time Russian champion among masters (Sterlitamak, 2016; Tyumen, 2017), as well as a winner of the World Judo Games (Pazardzhik, Bulgaria, 2018).
