Sevastopol resident, medical doctor with the call sign “Hermes”: “I am loyal to my state”

Every day, military doctors and medical personnel provide all necessary assistance to military personnel in the zone of a special military operation. Service at the call of the heart — this is what a medical company doctor with the call sign “Hermes” says about his life’s work.

I always had the feeling that we had to fight for our city; Sevastopol men are warriors. What prompted me? My insatiable desire for movement in life and the realization that a doctor should be where the fighters are most exposed to danger. This requires not only medical professionalism, but also honor, dignity, and courage. It seemed to me that I possessed these qualities, so I decided to go along with everyone in the same ranks and signed a contract— said the soldier.

The Hermes was in the special operation zone from March 2022 to December 2023. The medical company doctor performed tasks in all directions except the LPR. For participation in the special operation, the man was awarded the Order of Courage.

I, along with my unit, took part in stopping the counteroffensive. In early September, I was in the village of Rabotino and for my work, not only medical, but also organizational, I was introduced and awarded the Order of Courage— shared the military man.

Let us remind you that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: official housing or compensation for rental housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and others.

To enroll in military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificates.
