Sevastopol residents are offered ideas to improve areas of life to send to the forum «Strong ideas for the new time»

Sevastopol residents can submit their idea to the Strong Ideas for the New Times forum. It was created to support the best initiatives in six areas. You can submit an idea on the platform https://idea.roscongress.rf/ until 26 April. As the director of the economic development department Denis Profatilov noted, the ideas that were submitted to the forum last year are now being successfully implemented in the city. One of them is the “Fish Day in Sevastopol” action. This is a social program for residents and guests of the city.

An agreement was reached with five enterprises of the fishing industry on the approval of the social price for some types of Black Sea fish and seafood. Every Thursday, at a special price, you can buy sprat, red mullet, horse mackerel, anchovy, mussel, canned sprats in tomato sauce. On average, savings on each position at market prices on Fish Day are up to 30-50%. As of the 1st quarter of 2023, more than 33 tons of products and more than 5.9 thousand canned food were sold— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Denis Profatilov.

The Government of Sevastopol contributes to the implementation of the Fish Day in Sevastopol project: concessional loans, subsidies and grants are provided for participants. Also, the city leadership is working with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology to allocate support measures from the federal budget. This year, participants in the Strong Ideas for a New Time forum can submit their initiatives in six categories:

• national social initiative;
• national technology initiative;
• national personnel initiative;
• national environmental initiative,
• entrepreneurship;
• digital services.

Participants can not only implement their own project, but also help in solving systemic problems. The best ideas will be presented directly to the country’s leadership.

Recall that last year the residents of Sevastopol sent 75 ideas to the forum to improve various areas of life. Eight projects have been selected by the Government of Sevastopol — they are supported at the regional and federal levels.
