Sevastopol residents are offered to chip pets for free

In Sevastopol, the State Forest Service continues to chip pets — dogs and cats for free. This important procedure helps to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, identify animals and protect the rights of owners.
The chipping procedure is fast and painless. Microchip, the size of rice grain, is inserted under the skin of the animal into the walker area. The chip is safe, does not cause allergies and is not a source of radiation,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the Veterinary Department of Nikolai Dmitriv.
After the procedure, the owner fills the questionnaire with data about himself and the pet. This information, together with the unique chip code, is entered into a single database. The owner is issued a document on chipping, and a mark is placed in the veterinary passport of the animal.
Free chipping is carried out daily from 8:00 to 20:00 in a veterinary clinic on the street. Mogilevskaya, 16, as well as from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 18:30 and on Sunday from 8:30 to 14:00 in a veterinary clinic on the street. Butyrskaya, 9.
