Sevastopol residents are offered to take a free first aid course
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of Sevastopol and the public movement Medical Volunteers are conducting a free first aid course consisting of several sessions. Each of them is devoted to one direction — the actions necessary for fainting, heart attack and stroke, drowning, trauma, bleeding, as well as the rules for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Such knowledge will allow timely and correct assessment of possible threats to the health and life of people, the organizers note.
Passing the course «First Aid» will allow you to provide timely competent actions in unforeseen situations. First of all, this is a chance to save life, when the matter, among other things, may concern relatives or friends , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the regional coordinator of the Medical Volunteers movement Alexandra Shilova.
The training consists of two parts. In the first one, participants receive theoretical knowledge, in the second, they practice their skills in practice.
13 June was a lesson on first aid for drowning. The mentors told about all the necessary resuscitation actions, after which they clearly showed how to save the victim.
We practice skills in a safe environment, in the future this will allow us to act quickly and correctly in an emergency and save a person’s life. Our task is to teach a person to respond correctly to emergency situations and organize assistance to the victim before the arrival of specialists , — says the doctor of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of Sevastopol Nikolai Zlodeev.
The next First Aid sessions will take place on 6, 13 and 20 July from 00: 00 before 20: 00 at the volunteer headquarters «We are together — Sevastopol» on Lenin Street, 39. On July 6 there will be a lecture on first aid for trauma, 13 July — on first aid for bleeding , 13 July — on the rules for conducting cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
