Sevastopol residents are preparing to perform at the federal stage of the “Flagships of Education” competition

The regional semi-final of the “Flagships of Education” competition has ended in Sevastopol. This is a project of the presidential platform “Russia – a land of opportunities”, which creates conditions for the professional and career development of students, teachers and managers in the field of education.

Sevastopol residents submitted 170 applications for the competition. Participants completed a distance learning marathon and completed tasks in their personal account. The 16 people with the most points became semi-finalists. Over the course of two days, experts assessed their work: individual professional style, communication, creativity, ability to work in a team, critical thinking.

And about. Director of the Department of Education and Science Maxim Krivonos spoke with the participants and congratulated the regional winners.

The regional winners in Sevastopol were:

• Mikhail Dorokhov, teacher of the Black Sea Higher Naval Order of the Red Star School named after P. S. Nakhimov;
• Alena Nikitinskaya, primary school teacher at the educational center “Kazachya Bay”;
• Nadezhda Protasova, head of the Balaklava House of Children and Youth Creativity.

It’s incredibly exciting and very pleasant to hear your name among the best teacher-managers in our city. It is a great honor for me to represent Sevastopol at the federal level. I often participate in all-Russian educational forums and congresses, competitions, and actively participate in the public life of my school and city. I try to instill an active life position in my schoolchildren. But this project is a new stage in my professional life.
