Avito analysts discovered a surge in interest in classical literature — sales of books of Russian classics in 2024 for 2023 increased by 7%. The top of the most popular writers included Pushkin, Dostoevsky and Gogol. In January 2025, the trend was preserved: relative to the same period in 2024, sales increased by 14%. And interest in the works of A.S. Pushkin among residents of Sevastopol grew by 40%.
Avito experts analyzed the sales of classical Russian literature. It turned out that in January 2025, the residents of Sevastopol bought the works of Russian classics 1% more often than in January 2024. Pushkin’s sales on the platform in the first month of the year also grew — by 40% a year by the year. In 2024, sales growth relative to 2023 amounted to 14%. At the same time, along with the growth of sales, the offer is growing, due to which the availability of publications is increasing — books for books for a year have decreased by 10%.
