Residents of Sevastopol chose the most “people’s” district police officer, who will represent the hero city of Sevastopol in the finals of the All-Russian competition at the federal level.
According to the results of the online voting, which took place on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol from October 7 to October 16, the local police commissioner of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Leninsky district, senior police lieutenant, won Alexey Kurdyumov, for which 542 city residents cast their votes. Second place was taken by the district commissioner of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nakhimovsky district, senior police lieutenant Dmitry Marchenko (285 votes). Third place – local police commissioner of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Balaklava region, police captain Andrey Berlizev (208 votes)— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
Alexey Kurdyumov, noted in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol, has established himself on the positive side as a conscientious, principled, executive and qualified employee, distinguished by high efficiency and consistency in achieving his goal. The winner of the second regional stage of the competition is 34 years old and has devoted his entire adult life to serving in the police. He has been serving in the internal affairs bodies since 2013, including five years in the service of district commissioners.
Senior police lieutenant Alexey Kurdyumov considers his main professional achievement to be the fact that the preventive measures he carried out affect the reduction of serious and especially serious crimes in the administrative area he serves. In addition to combating crime and ensuring the rule of law, the district commissioner performs a wide range of tasks, including helping people resolve various problems.
Over the past period of this year, the winner of the competition solved 5 crimes, considered 569 complaints and applications from citizens, drew up 14 administrative protocols, and in October 2020 participated in the rescue of an elderly woman who was in a helpless state at her place of residence.
Alexey Kurdyumov will represent the hero city of Sevastopol at the All-Russian stage and, along with colleagues from other regions of Russia, and will compete for the prestigious title of “People’s Precinct Officer” of the country.
Residents of Sevastopol will be able to support senior police lieutenant Alexei Kurdyumov on the portal of the competition’s information partner, the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house, starting from November 1. The awarding and presentation of the main prize of the All-Russian competition «People’s Precinct Police Officer — 2023» will take place at the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs on the eve of the professional holiday — the Day of the Precinct Police Commissioner, which is celebrated on November 17.
