Today, Sevastopol residents laid an alley in honor of the fallen participants in a special military operation. The event was held in the student square of Victory Park. The action was organized by the regional charitable public organization «We are Sevastopol» on the initiative of the «Council of Wives and Mothers».
Families of military personnel, students of the Nakhimov Naval School, internationalist soldiers, representatives of public organizations and residents of the city gathered in the student park to plant trees.
We believe that this is a good sign expressing our respect, attention, our gratitude. In particular, it is very important to support psychologically and emotionally women, wives, mothers and other loved ones with whom we are actively working. We provide them with psychological assistance, provide legal advice, they participate in our social programs and work with children. That is, we try to distract them from their own grief. This action is not just a tribute to the memory of the dead, it is also aimed at morally supporting the wives and mothers of soldiers , — said the head of the public organization «We are Sevastopol» Sergey Kruglov.
In total, the participants of the action in memory of the soldiers planted 11 trees — cypress and thuja. Also, a rally and the opening of a memorial sign took place in the student square.
Recall that the action was held within the framework of the program “For Friends”.
