Sevastopol roads are put in order to the summer season

The GBU «Sevastopol Avtodor» conducts a set of works on the maintenance of the road network of the city in the spring. Particular attention is paid to preparations for the celebration of Victory Day and the purity of roads in places of military glory. This was announced at the hardware meeting by the director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure Stanislav Tamataev.

In the winter period, drawings, small pits, ruts are formed on the road surface, and therefore, special attention in April and May is paid to restoring roads with a transitional (crushed stone-gravel) type of coverage, eliminating the clovers of the roadsides, as well as, traditionally, we proceed to the restoration of asphalt coatings with hot asphalt concrete concrete concrete concrete concrete concrete coverage mixtures «cards». At the moment, 15 stop pavilions have already been repaired.

A wide park of equipment and a brigade of road workers are involved in the performance of work. At night, work is underway to restore the asphalt concrete coating in order to minimize the braking of traffic.

In particular, 14 units of equipment are constantly involved in the mechanized cleaning of the road surface, 25 road workers and 9 units of equipment are involved in sanitary cleaning, six road workers and three units of equipment are used on the mowing of grass and pruning of branches.

In the framework of ensuring the safety of the road in the spring, when the established positive temperatures of the Sevavtodor GBU occurred, measures are being taken to restore horizontal and vertical road markings, disturbed in the winter. This year, on March 12, the weather conditions began to begin local markings, and weather conditions allowed us to begin the usual one on April 14.

The end of the work is planned before the start of the summer season. To date, 180 km of horizontal longitudinal marking, 625 m2 of transverse horizontal, has already been applied, 151 pcs of pedestrian crossings have been restored.

Also, during the hardware meeting, the governor of Sevastopol instructed to strengthen the control over construction garbage and compliance with the rules of cleanliness on the roads by building companies.
