Sevastopol saw off another of its sons, another hero of the Northern Military District, on his last journey

Today Sevastopol said goodbye to the hero of the Northern Military District, Guard Junior Sergeant Valery Stadnichenko.

Valery Vladimirovich was born and raised in Sevastopol. He graduated from gymnasium No. 8, then studied at Sevastopol State University, often combining his studies with work, and always strived to be independent. In 2016-2017 he served in military service. After finishing his service, he studied again at SevSU. In 2021, he signed a contract for military service in the reserves. After the start of the Northern Military District, he voluntarily conscripted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and was sent to serve in the 810th separate marine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet. He took part in the assault on the Ilyich plant in Mariupol, then fought in the Ugledar direction and was wounded. For courage and heroism shown in battles, he was awarded government awards. After being wounded he returned to the front. He said that he couldn’t stay here when his colleagues and friends were there.said Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Valery Stadnichenko died heroically near the village of Krynki, Kherson region.
