Sevastopol says goodbye to its sons — real heroes

Today Sevastopol said goodbye to the hero of the Northern Military District — private Igor Yaremchuk.
Igor Sergeevich was born and raised in Sevastopol. Life turned out in such a way that he moved to St. Petersburg, worked there at the Northern Shipyard, built ships. His relatives say that, despite the move, he loved Sevastopol very much and never forgot; whenever possible he tried to visit his hometown. When mobilization began in the country, Igor Sergeevich decided to volunteer to participate in a special military operation. He told his family: “I can’t do it any other way, I’m a Sevastopol resident!”said Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Private Yaremchuk served in a motorized rifle regiment of the Western Military District. He died heroically in the area of the village of Makeevka in the LPR, fulfilling the combat missions assigned to him.
The warrior was buried in Sevastopol, as he bequeathed. Everlasting memory!
Earlier, the governor of Sevastopol reported about two more soldiers of the Northern Military District with whom the Hero City said goodbye — guard lieutenant of the 810th Marine Brigade Dmitry Ustyugov and senior lieutenant Alexander Novikov.
Dmitry Valerievich was born in Vladivostok into the family of an officer in the Pacific Fleet. Then he moved with his parents to Bashkiria. After graduating from school, he served in military service. In 2020 he graduated from the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. Since 2016, he served in the 810th Marine Brigade. He participated in the North Military District from the first day and proved himself to be an experienced, proactive warrior. In 2023, he was appointed to the position of deputy company commander for military-political work. Dmitry Valerievich died in the Kherson direction. At the cost of his own life, he managed to save his wounded comrade.
Alexander Vladimirovich was born and lived all his life in Sevastopol. He graduated from school No. 4, then Sevastopol State Technical University with a degree in Automobiles and automotive industry.» Worked in the field of online education, automotive repair. He could not stay away from the events taking place in the country; he was one of the first to voluntarily join the ranks of the combat reserve of the Russian Armed Forces. Since the fall of 2022, he served in motorized rifle units. Since January 2023, he fought in the Maryinsky direction in assault units, was the commander of a motorized rifle platoon, and enjoyed authority and respect from his colleagues. Alexander Vladimirovich died heroically while evacuating a wounded comrade from the battlefieldsaid Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The head of the city also recalled a line from the Gospel of John:
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
