Sevastopol schoolchildren will be shown the work of city enterprises from the inside

According to the regional operator of the Ticket to the Future project Olga Anistratenko, this year the students of Sevastopol schools will have a unique opportunity not only to try their hand at various professions, but also to visit production facilities, where they will be guided by top managers of companies. This approach will help students not only with the choice of a future direction of activity, but also with the subsequent choice of a college or university.

According to Olga Anistratenko, the Ticket to the Future project was launched in Sevastopol in April, and this time its next stage will focus on those professions that are now most in demand on the labor market. According to her, Sevastopol schoolchildren will be able to try their strengths, talents and skills in the hotel service, the digital economy, the restaurant and agricultural business, the tourism industry, and even in the military-industrial complex. But special attention will be directed to working professions.

Today, the labor market lacks, first of all, «working hands», such as turners and welders. And the prestige of these professions is very low, and the generation that is now facing a choice is more likely to give preference to IT entrepreneurship. Our task is to show children working professions from an unusual angle and talk about the opportunities that are available for them in Sevastopol— the regoperator emphasized, and clarified that acquaintance with a variety of professions begins with special testing, where algorithms based on the interests and preferences of the child will offer suitable areas of activity.

After passing the test, career guidance lessons will be held, where students will learn in detail about the labor market in Sevastopol, then an excursion to one of the enterprises, and from October, a test of the profession.

This year, the implementation of the federal project will cover 60 schools in the city, and 40 different professions will be provided for children. Also, according to the information of the regional operator «Ticket to the Future», the number of sites where children will immerse themselves in the profession will be increased.

Absolutely everyone can become a participant in the project, as Olga Anistratenko reminded, parents can also help with this — just register on the site or contact the teacher at the school, who has been appointed teacher-navigator.

It is included in the passport of the federal project «Success of every child» within the framework of the national project «Education».
