Center for digital education of children “IT-cube. Sevastopol» is implementing a unique for our country project «School Museum VR». Within its framework, children unite the past and the future, revive history with the help of new technologies. Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razaozhaev spoke about the unique project.
The project was developed and implemented by the curators of the project — the head of the center Lilia Shatalova and the teacher of the direction «Development of VR / AR-applications» Natalia Gavrilova. Schoolchildren in an interactive form talk about the heroes, significant places and sights that are reflected in the school museums of Sevastopol. The guys study archival documents and expositions, take panoramas of historical locations and monuments, and on their basis, using the PanoQuiz platform, create VR tours and game quests. These works have already been used in the lessons of «Sevastopol» in the schools of the city , — said Mikhail Razvodanv.
