CrimeaPRESS reports:

The shortage of teachers in Sevastopol schools will be reduced by almost half in 2027 by attracting students to work and redistributing the workload among teachers, they reported TASS in the city department of education and science.

The need for personnel in general education organizations for the medium and long term in the city of Sevastopol has been determined. The need for teaching staff in the medium and long term is 251 people in 2025, 194 people in 2026 and 130 people in 2027the department said.

As of September 2024, in the city schools there was a demand for primary school teachers, Russian language and literature, mathematics, history, and foreign languages. On September 1, 42 young teachers started working. It is planned to eliminate the existing personnel shortage by attracting students from pedagogical universities and colleges to work, and redistributing the workload among teachers.
