Sevastopol schools will halve the staff shortage in 2027

The need for personnel in general education organizations for the medium and long term in the city of Sevastopol has been determined. The need for teaching staff in the medium and long term is 251 people in 2025, 194 people in 2026 and 130 people in 2027the department said.
As of September 2024, in the city schools there was a demand for primary school teachers, Russian language and literature, mathematics, history, and foreign languages. On September 1, 42 young teachers started working. It is planned to eliminate the existing personnel shortage by attracting students from pedagogical universities and colleges to work, and redistributing the workload among teachers.
As noted in the department, the city also continues to actively develop specialized classes in various areas. This school year, we have increased the number of engineering, “Kurchatov” classes, where children study in depth the exact and natural sciences, space and agro-technological classes.
