The status of a social enterprise allows representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to receive additional state support. This is financial assistance — in the form of grants up to 500 thousand, guarantees and guarantees, microloans and consultations. To date, Sevastopol continues to accept applications for inclusion in the register of social entrepreneurs — it will last until December 31. Business representatives who are already on the register must annually confirm their status — an application can be submitted before May 1.
Social enterprises build businesses that are useful to society, and the Government, for its part, provides the necessary support. To receive grants, guarantees, microloans and consulting support, it is necessary to be in the register of social entrepreneurs. The first category is employment, when a social enterprise provides employment for socially vulnerable categories of citizens. The second is the sale of goods and services produced by socially vulnerable categories of citizens. The third category includes the production of goods and services that are intended for socially vulnerable categories. And the fourth — activities aimed at socially useful goals, for example, preschool education, additional education, organization of recreation and recreation for children, the activities of private museums, studio schools, creative workshops and others.
In addition, from 2022, persons with disabilities operating as individual entrepreneurs without employees can be included in the register.
