Sevastopol State Traffic Inspectorate summed up the results of the «Night City» raid

Last weekend, the Sevastopol State Traffic Safety Inspectorate was fully deployed to protect public order in order to reduce the accident rate and ensure public order on the city streets. The main goal of the «Night City» preventive raid is targeted work to prevent and warn of traffic accidents, identify and stop cases of drunk driving, and ensure public order on the streets and other public places of Sevastopol.
During the raid, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate officers identified 15 traffic violations: three drivers refused to undergo a medical examination at the request of traffic police officers, two citizens were detained for driving a car without having the right to drive a vehicle, and violations of maneuvering rules, violations of the rules for transporting children and violations of the light transmittance of the front side windows were also identified.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate stopped the movement of two minors who were driving a motor vehicle without having the right to drive a vehicle. The Juvenile Affairs Department officers drew up reports against the parents under Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation— the Sevastopol Department of Internal Affairs reported.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Sevastopol reminds that driving a car while intoxicated is subject to administrative liability under Article 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which entails the imposition of an administrative fine of 30 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive a car for a period of 1.5 to 2 years. Repeated commission of a similar offense provides for criminal liability under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
