Sevastopol students are the winners of the district sports festival of the Russian North Ossetia

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Spartakiad of the Southern Federal District among Russian Student Teams ended in Volgograd. About 85 students from six regions took part in it. Over the course of three days, the guys competed in team sports, e-sports, passed the GTO standards and took part in a creative competition. For the first time in five years, Sevastopol took first place in the district sports competition in the overall team competition.

I am sincerely proud of our guys! First place at the district sports and athletics competition is a result that the student teams of Sevastopol worked long and hard to achieve. I am sure that we still have many victories ahead in various directions.– the press service quotes the deputy head of the department for youth and sports Marina Slonchenko.

In addition to sports competitions, students created propaganda videos as part of a creative competition from VKontakte. The winner was determined by voting, according to the results of which Sevastopol also came in first place.

We went to the competition with a fighting spirit. It was very difficult at the moment, because the atmosphere at sports competitions is tense. We traveled without fans and knew for sure that we ourselves would support our team. I can say with confidence that we made new friends and set an example of discipline and mutual respectnotes team captain Alexander Mitrivelli.

Ahead of the Sevastopol team is the 64th All-Russian meeting of student teams in Kazan, at which the guys will represent the Southern Federal District.
