Sevastopol students were told about the main trend of the tax service

CrimeaPRESS reports:

4th year students of the Sevastopol Branch of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov learned about the main trends of the country’s tax service at a lecture given by the chief state tax inspector of the department of public services of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, Elena Maslova.

The speaker noted that today the Federal Tax Service provides taxpayers with a wide range of digital services: the Federal Tax Service website currently operates more than 70 electronic services, which allow you to resolve issues related to paying taxes online. Electronic assistants help taxpayers save time and create the most comfortable conditions for interaction with tax authorities. All services are collected in one section on the main page of the Federal Tax Service website.

Elena Maslova informed students that the most popular services for taxpayers are the line of personal accounts. So, «Taxpayer personal account for individuals» allows you to receive up-to-date information about property and vehicles, monitor the status of settlements with the budget, fill out and send electronically a tax return in form 3-NDFL, and then track the status of its desk audit. You can also request the necessary certificates, receive a TIN certificate in electronic form, and information about your accounts (deposits) in Russian banks. In addition, applications can be submitted, including applications for tax benefits, notices to open a foreign bank account, as well as consent to report tax debts and much more.

The speaker noted that the tax department adheres to its basic principle — “taxes are simple and convenient.” It is the simplification of tax administration for citizens and businesses and the emphasis on quality feedback that makes it possible to pay taxes in a comfortable manner. As an example, Elena Maslova cited tax regime for the self-employed. Now in Russia there are already more than 8 million citizens who conduct their business legally and pay taxes, because this regime was initially created taking into account the wishes of potential users. In Sevastopol, a special tax regime applies to about 30 thousand taxpayers, who received a total income of more than 8 billion rubles.

The lecturer told students about the advantages of using a special tax regime, about restrictions, about how to register as a “self-employed”, about using the “My Tax” application, about bonuses and about changes in tax payment in 2023 in connection with the implementation of the Unified Tax Account . She emphasized that taxpayers can register as “self-employed” on their own, without visiting the tax authority, through the “My Tax” mobile application. It is important that the tax payment receipt is generated automatically by the tax authority, based on funds received from clients.

During the lecture, Elena Maslova reminded students that December 1 marks the end of property tax campaign. And every conscientious taxpayer must have time to pay the budget for accrued property taxes.

At the end of the lecture, Elena Maslova invited future graduates to try their hand at finding employment in the Federal Tax Service of Russia in Sevastopol and noted that the Federal Tax Service is not just a government body that carries out tax administration and control over the timely payment of taxes. This is a place where every employee has the opportunity to realize their professional and creative potential.
