The Office of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in Sevastopol hosted another webinar at which the influence of digital technologies on business processes and the advantages of electronic interaction with the tax service was discussed. The listeners were addressed by the head of the Contour Service Center, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council at the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Sevastopol Dmitry Garkush.
The speaker noted that digitalization currently covers almost all areas of activity, including conducting entrepreneurial activities. The widespread implementation of digital decisions leads to global changes in business processes.
Electronic document management (EDO) has several advantages and opens up new opportunities for business and allows the entrepreneur to become a competitive and promising participant in the market, and also not to lose key advantages for stable and long -term development.
In some cases, the use of EDO becomes mandatory and allows us to optimize the interaction of all participants in the process. For example, if work is carried out with imported goods passing through the national traceability system, when reporting, etc.
During the webinar, the speaker also spoke about the advantages of the exchange of electronic invoices. The transfer to the electronic type of primary documents (invoices, invoices) will help significantly reduce temporary and financial costs for the exchange of documents. To switch to the use of electronic invoices, it is necessary:
- to coordinate with counterparties the possibility of exchange of electronic invoices;
- get an enhanced qualified electronic signature in the certifying center of the Federal Tax Service of Russia or from one of the proxies of the Federal Tax Service of Russia;
- Conclude an agreement with the electronic document management operator.

The transition to electronic invoices allows you to make business more productive and keep up with the times, get rid of paper archives, reduce costs and accelerate business processes— said Dmitry Garkush.
