Sevastopol taxpayers paid more than 45 billion rubles to the country's budget
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At an extended meeting of the board, the results of the Department’s work for 2023 were summed up. The head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, Alexey Mogila, noted the positive dynamics of budget revenues and identified promising areas of work for the current year.
The head of the Department indicated that the main innovation of 2023 was the introduction of a single tax account mechanism. Despite the fact that at the initial stage of the implementation of a large-scale project many questions arose, at the moment it can be stated that the project has been implemented, the system operates stably and without failures.
Alexey Mogila reported that in 2023, the Russian budget system received 45.5 billion rubles, which is 12.8% higher than last year.
Receipts to the budget of Sevastopol amounted to 23.8 billion rubles (10% higher than last year’s figures), to the Federal budget — 8.8 billion rubles (27% higher than the values for 2022), 15.8 billion rubles of insurance were transferred to state extra-budgetary funds contributions (10% higher than the totals for the previous period).
At the end of 2023, property tax accruals increased by 60%, amounting to 1.6 billion rubles. The increase in accruals compared to the previous year is due to an increase in the number of taxable objects involved in tax turnover, a change in the cadastral value of land plots, as well as an increase in the corporate property tax rate.
During the board meeting, the head of the Department announced the indicators of the control work, according to the results of which 1.1 billion rubles were mobilized into the budget in 2023. More than half of the revenue is provided by the results of control and analytical work, to which the Department pays special attention, explaining to taxpayers the advantages of timely voluntary clarification of tax obligations in order to eliminate unnecessary costs in the form of penalties.
Commenting on the achieved results of activity, Alexey Mogila outlined the main tasks for 2024: to ensure the dynamics of tax and insurance premiums in accordance with the economic indicators of the region, to intensify work to reduce tax debt, and to provide public services at a high professional level.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Federal Inspector of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District Alexander Akulov, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol Vladimir Nemtsev, First Deputy Governor — Chairman of the Government of Sevastopol Alexey Parikin, Chairman of the Public Council under the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol Pavel Lebedev and other officials.
The invited leaders noted that the fulfillment of social obligations aimed at improving the quality of life of people in the region, as well as the implementation of tasks related to a special military operation, is impossible without timely and complete filling of the treasury.
In his response, Alexey Mogila thanked the guests for their support and effective teamwork and emphasized that the potential of the regional tax service team allows them to complete tasks and ensure the achievement of high results in their work.
