Sevastopol teenagers receive the first labor experience in GSTO

In Sevastopol, governor school labor detachments (GSTO) are actively working, providing adolescents with the opportunity to get the first experience and earn their own funds.
The participation of adolescents in governor’s school labor detachments is not just an experience, but an important step towards adulthood. Work on vineyards helps adolescents to master agricultural technologies, get useful experience and teaches working in a team. Thanks to work during the summer holidays, students not only earn their first money and get the opportunity to decide on her future profession, but also get the necessary life skills that will help them achieve success in the future,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the Department of Youth Affairs Marina elephant.
Currently, more than 40 adolescents aged 14 to 17 are involved in the work project of the Golden Balka enterprise. Under the leadership of 8 curators from among the student detachments of Sevastopol, adolescents are busy processing vineyards, fragmentation of shoots, ennobles of the territory and numbering pillars. The type and volume of work performed corresponds to the age of the participants, so they are divided into two groups.
This summer I first work with the governor’s school labor detachments, and I am glad that I have the opportunity to earn my first pocket money. I really like the vineyards, here an interesting job is, we are fed with a delicious dinner, and in breaks we play games with curators and just communicate— says Maxim Biryukov from 32 schools.
Recall that in 2025 it is planned to employ 2152 teenagers as part of the GSTO, including schoolchildren, college and technical school students. Participants in the detachments work in various fields, including schools, parks, libraries, on the Bolshaya Sevastopol Trope, at transport enterprises and in the banking sector. For the first time in the history of GSTO, adolescents will be involved in the creation of content for the STV channel.
The duration of the working day varies depending on the age: 4 hours for 14-year-olds, 5 hours for 15-year-olds and 7 hours for adolescents aged 16 to 17 years.
