Sevastopol: the competition «Young organizer of healthcare» has ended
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Sevastopol summed up the results of the competition «Young Organizer of Health». It allows talented managers to show leadership qualities and take part in the competition.
This year we have already moved the competition to a larger hall, which means that the competition is developing and growing. Of course, it is very important to hear the opinion of people who are now beginning to gain experience or are already experienced, but still young in age. This is a fresh look at the organization of healthcare. The competition discusses topical issues that give people who are now responsible for organizing healthcare some new ideas, and rightly so , the press service of Deputy Governor Alexander Kulagin quotes.
In total, the participants received papers on three topics: “The role of a medical worker in the life of an elderly person”; “How to raise the prestige of the medical profession”;
«History of civilian medicine in Sevastopol». As a result, the reviewers selected 5 works.
According to Vitaly Denisov, director of the health department, in order to become a winner, each of the health care organizers must be able not only to demonstrate their leadership skills, work in a team, build effective communication, show systems thinking and openness to new things, but also competently ensure the functioning of the system itself.
We have been holding our competition for the second year already, it is dedicated to the 102 anniversary of the creation of civil medicine in Sevastopol. The tasks are important. We need to train young managers who can and will make quick, correct and unconventional decisions, and we must understand who will replace them in five to ten years. Last year, three finalists of the competition, who won prizes, were included in the personnel reserve of the department. The heads of the institutions in which they work work with them on an individual training plan so that they grow and develop further. Today, last year’s winners are already participating as mentors for those contestants who made it to the final this year , emphasizes Vitaly Denisov.
According to the results of the competition this year, the works of the following authors were recognized as the best:
- 1st place — Elena Moradi and Evgenia Barchukova, Center for Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine ;102
- 2nd place – Almasud Rami, city hospital No. 4;
- 3rd place — Natalia Ponomareva, Sevastopol Medical College named after Zhenya Deryugina; 102
