Sevastopol to implement «Paint over the danger» project

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The «Paint Over the Danger» project has been underway in Sevastopol for five years. Volunteers and volunteers unite to clear the city of signs advertising online stores of prohibited substances. Over the past five years, the young activists of Sevastopol have visited all areas of the city, today the activists visited the Gorpischenko microdistrict.

The campaign is held within the framework of Sofia Tarnavskaya’s grant project «Life from the Safe Side». Sevastopol residents know about it and are active — they themselves become participants and attract new volunteers. Anyone who has reached the age of 16 can join the campaign, those who are younger can come with their parents. It is enough to leave an application on the all-Russian platform Dobro.ru. The educational program is held so that as many representatives of Sevastopol’s youth as possible take part in volunteering— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the Department of Youth Affairs Marina Slonchenko.

The «Paint Over the Danger» project is held under the auspices of the city department for youth affairs and the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Sevastopol. More than 2,000 volunteers took part in 115 events held since 2019. At least 8 people came to the events, the maximum number of participants reached 30.

There is not a single street where there is no ill-fated advertising on some house or garage. Such widespread and public visualization creates a false effect in the minds of teenagers and young people. They say that if the signs are there and they are not removed, then the substances are legal, permitted, and do not harm human health and life. And some of the kids fall for this bait — they become drug addicts. They ruin their lives and spoil those of their closest and dearest people.“, says the organizer of the “Paint Over the Danger” project, Sofia Tarnavskaya.

The events are held within the framework of the implementation of the regional project “Social Activity” of the national project “Education”.
