Sevastopol traffic inspectors quickly searched for a driver who fled the scene of an accident

Sevastopol traffic inspectors promptly responded to a message on social networks and identified the driver who fled the scene of an accident.

A resident of the village of Orlinoe with an active civic position on social networks posted a video in which he addresses the police and asks them to take action and deal with the incident that occurred on the territory of the Military Glory Square , — told the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol. — 12 June around 01: 00 on Pakhomov Street 30, a year-old driver, driving a VAZ car 21103, did not choose a safe speed, left the carriageway and allowed a collision with an obstacle, after which fled the scene of the traffic accident. The violator did not record traces of the offense and did not report to the police. As a result of the active citizenship and prompt response of the police, the driver was brought to administrative responsibility.

With regard to the man, administrative materials were drawn up under Part 2 of Art. 12.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for leaving by the driver, in violation of traffic rules, the scene of an accident in which he was a participant, for which deprivation of the right to drive for a period of one year to one and a half years, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, as well as under Part 1 of Article 12.1. Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for driving a vehicle that is not duly registered, for which an administrative fine is provided in the amount of five hundred to eight hundred rubles.
