Sevastopol Victory Park is waiting for the next stage of reconstruction and improvement
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The project for the reconstruction and improvement of the second stage of the Victory Park was presented by the director of JSC «Sevastopolstroyproekt» Konstantin Pirogov.
The first part of the park has already taken shape, in the second part we tried to take into account what is missing there. First of all, this is landscaping — it is important to preserve the Red Book trees. They are located both on the side of Parkovaya Street and on the side of Fadeeva Street. We try not only to save trees, but also to increase their number. Also, in the process of working on the project, archeological objects were discovered, we will make them part of the park, its highlight— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Konstantin Pirogov.
The project provides for the organization of functional zoning of the territory. The area is divided into zones convenient for visitors. Separate places for quiet rest and entertainment of children are designed.
I see that on the part of Fadeev they added more functionality for visitors of different ages, because the main complaint about Victory Park is that there is nothing to do there — there is no entertainment— said the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The design of the park also includes toilets and an additional room for mother and child.
The first task that the designer faced was the preservation of all existing green spaces. A dendrological plan for the first and second sections was developed, all the trees listed there have been preserved. The task was set to fully preserve the relief in this area, as well as the established routes for the movement of people. The main idea of this park is active recreation. The project provides for three playgrounds, a skate park, yoga areas, a bike path has also been designed, — and said. O. Deputy Governor Pavel Ieno.
During the discussions, those present put forward a number of comments on the draft, which should be taken into account before making a final decision.
It is better to remove sports and entertainment grounds in depth: in this way there will be no complaints from residents of nearby houses that they are noisy in the skate park. We need to study this issue and find out if it can be reformattedsays the governor.
Also, members of the council recommended, based on the results of consultations with the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, to apply landscaping recommended for use on the territory of Sevastopol.
The concept of the development of the beach adjacent to the Victory Park was presented at the meeting by an individual entrepreneur Alexei Vasilkovsky. On a land plot near the beach, the concept project provides for the construction of a cultural and entertainment center with a terrace.
The objects that are now on the land plot where the embankment is located do not belong to capital construction objects and are being dismantled. Projects of modern buildings have been developed, which will be connected by a terrace, there will be an open layout inside, it can be changed when tenants appear— emphasizes Alexey Vasilkovsky.
The project is organized in such a way that the site does not lose free space, and the visual characteristics are improved. Also, based on previous comments, the placement of a sports ground is provided, schemes for lighting the territory, placement of sheds, bike paths, landscaping and children’s areas have been developed.
I would like to draw attention to the sports ground: the presented visualization plan does not quite correspond to what it is now — authentic, with home-made pears, barbells. I wish the concept had paid more attention to this., — clarifies the acting. Deputy Governor Maxim Zhukalov.
During the discussion, the members of the architectural council voiced a number of important comments on the appearance of the new structures and their functionality. The project will be resubmitted at the next meeting of the Architectural Council.
