Sevastopol volunteer with the call sign “Dagger”: “We all have one goal — to defend our Motherland”

Privates and sergeants, corporals and majors, sergeants and warrant officers in one formation in a special operation zone successfully perform assigned combat missions. Men of different ages, nationalities and professions from different regions united to defend the country and their people. One of them is a volunteer of the Akhmat special forces with the call sign “Dagger”.

I volunteered as a member of the Akhmat special forces as a rifleman. I signed a contract for three months right on the eve of the New Year holidays. Our squad was nicknamed “New Year’s Surprise”. We carried out tasks in the Soledar direction: first we held the defense, then the assault began. While performing one of the tasks in the Donetsk direction, I was wounded and shell-shocked, after which I returned home– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes a volunteer.

The hero shared that the soldiers regularly receive help from the rear and letters from schoolchildren.

Humanitarian aid, thermal imagers, camouflage nets and children’s letters were brought to us at the front line and at our locations. Letters from guys from all over Russia are very important and valuable. When the soldiers are in good spirits and they bring us letters, it touches the soul, honestly. Many people take the letters and then carry them with them.,” the special forces soldier emphasizes.

Returning to his hometown, the participant in the special operation contacted the branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland foundation. Thanks to the help of a social coordinator, he received a combat veteran certificate and a referral for sanatorium treatment in the city of Saki.

Let us remind you that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: official housing or compensation for rental housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and others.

To enroll in military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificates.
