Sevastopol was fined for an extremist statement on a social network
Krympress reports:
The prosecutor’s office of the Leninsky district of Sevastopol monitored the Internet in order to identify materials that humiliate the human dignity of a certain circle of persons.
It was established that in July of this year in the VKontakte social network in the group on events and incidents, a commentary was publicly posted to initiate hatred and enmity in relation to persons united on the basis of the origin and territory of residence. The author of the comment was a local resident born in 1979. On this fact, the district prosecutor’s office opened a case of an administrative offense under Art. 20.3.1 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (excitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity), -reported in the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.
Having examined the case file, the Nakhimovsky District Court of Sevastopol fined the guilty of 10 thousand rubles.
