Sevastopol will receive millions and millions for the development of tourism infrastructure

Sevastopol will receive about 99, 5 million rubles from the federal budget for the development of tourism infrastructure.

In 2022 we prepared a regional grant proposal. As a result, Sevastopol became one of the subjects of the Russian Federation to which funds were allocated. When the money is brought, we will announce a competition for entrepreneurs of Sevastopol and, thanks to federal measures, we will support the development of the tourism infrastructure of our region , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the governor of the city Mikhail Mishustin.

The corresponding order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The funds received will allow creating new author’s routes and excursions, equipping a tourist environment for people with disabilities, tourist recreation areas, including the creation of visit centers, marking and navigation systems, and much more.

Recall that in 2022 year Sevastopol will receive 334 million rubles from the federal budget for the development of the tourism industry. Earlier, the city was allocated 150 million rubles for the creation of modular non-capital accommodation facilities. Thanks to this subsidy, at least 99 new modular structures will be built in the region. In total, the Government of the Russian Federation will allocate more than 3.5 billion rubles in the 2022 year to the regions of the country for the creation and development of tourism infrastructure.
