Sevastopol will strengthen the control system for the processing of green spaces

“Parks and squares”, municipalities and management companies mow grass, destroy ambrosia and protect trees from an American white butterfly. The actor reported this during the hardware meeting to the governor Director of the Department of Urban Economy Natalya Gulyaeva. Mikhail Podvozhaev instructed to strengthen the control system and quickly respond to residents’ appeals.

Work on mow, the fight against quarantine weeds and pests is carried out. We will increase control of contracting organizations, especially in terms of night processing and timely informing residents,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Natalya Gulyaeva.

The mowing of the grass began in April. The total area is 833 hectares. In total, nine mowing is planned for this year. Today, depending on the area, from three to six mowing has already been carried out.

On the special control of the event to identify, localize and remove the foci of ragweed. The work is going on throughout the city, including in the house territories.

As for the protection of trees from the American white butterfly. There is a phytosanitary processing of green spaces. 1490 plants have already been processed, 100 traps and hunting belts are placed. Processing will continue, the Department of Urban Economy and Parks and Squares report the upcoming work in their social networks.
