The contract for the supply of chemical industry products to the Republic of Belarus was concluded following the results of the reverse business mission of Belarusian entrepreneurs, which took place at the end of January. The events were held within the framework of the national project «Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives».
Last year, Sevastopol and the Minsk City Executive Committee signed an agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and humanitarian spheres. The business mission is another step to expand cooperation and strengthen friendly ties between Sevastopol and the Republic of Belarus , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko.
The first block of the business mission included holding a round table at the site of the My Business center. The second was full of negotiations, excursions to enterprises. Total 30 meetings passed.
For three days, with the assistance of the Export Support Center, Belarusian entrepreneurs managed to assess the export potential of Sevastopol producers. Both parties declared their intention to further active cooperation, — said the director of the center «My Business» Natalia Borisova.
As a result of the business mission, the parties agreed to supply from Sevastopol to the Republic of Belarus adhesive sealing insulating materials: petroleum polymer resin, inden-coumarone resin, polyurethane compound — this is liquid polyurethane, which is used in electrical wiring and in the manufacture of injection molds.
Sevastopol has a huge potential, especially in the field of tourism services, which we previously thought was one direction that could be in demand among the citizens of the Republic of Belarus. But, as it turned out, the region is beautiful with its production, which will be in demand in other areas of trade and economic relations , — the representative of the Belarusian delegation Alexander Grinkevich notes the result.
Sevastopol was visited by Belarusian entrepreneurs who work in the field of food products and industrial chemistry, as well as a representative of the electronic trading platform «Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange».
