Today, at a hardware meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Pravozhev, they discussed key sports events, which are planned in 2025.
The governor instructed the head of the sports department by the next year to create a full -fledged city sports school movement.

Such an association will help children to educate a team spirit and more and more children will participate in the city’s sports life,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Pravozhaev.
Recall, thanks to the updating of the existing and the construction of new sports facilities, Sevastopol began to carry out large -scale events.
This year it is planned to hold nine interregional and eight all -Russian official sports competitions, which will unite 3,400 people.
Now preparations are underway for the festival of culture and sports of the peoples of the south of Russia. It will be held from September 4 to 7 and will collect 800 participants in 6 sports: arm wrestling, sambo, sports throwing a knife, archery, tug of rope and mini-football.
In addition, in the schedule for July, holding the championship of the Southern Federal District in Sailing Sports and Competitions for Sports Orientation among men and women, boys and girls “Heroes of Sevastopol”.
In August, the city will accept all -Russian sports competitions in water among men and women, boys and girls. In September — the Russian Cup in Armrestling, in October — the stage of the Cup of Russia in mountaineering and all -Russian sports competitions in sambo among young men and girls in memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union D.S. Odintsova.
