Sevastopol Wines entered the «Wine Guide of Russia»

Product evaluation was carried out in 2024 according to strict criteria: first-laboratory analysis on the site of accredited laboratory, then a tasting on a 100-point scale of the World Grape and Wine Organization (OIV), and already in 2025 the results of the audit were summed up— explained the mechanism in the message.
According to the results of this audit, the organic wines of Sevastopol received special confession: in the Organik rating, they took all ten first places.
The transition to organics requires several years of soil adaptation, which emphasizes the long -term strategy of Sevastopol winemakers, ”the government noted.
The authorities note that the inclusion of 150 Sevastopol wines in the “Wine Guide of Russia” is a confirmation that “Sevastopol is becoming the center of premium wine production”.
According to the government, in the region there are now more than 7 thousand hectares of vineyards, 21 licensed winery are operating. The production of quiet wines last year grew by almost 40%, and sparkling and champagne — by 61%. The number of market participants over 10 years has grown from 25 to 70 legal entities, and the state program supporting the industry is growing every year.
Earlier, the head of the expert research group Arthur Sargsyan, commenting on RIA Novosti Crimea impressions obtained during the audit of winery enterprises of Crimea and Sevastopol, declaredthat Crimean wines will definitely be in the top of the «wine guide of Russia 2025-2026».
