Sevastopol yachtsmen win medals at the 12th Summer Spartakiad of Russian students in Taganrog

The 12th Summer Spartakiad of Russian students in sailing ended in Taganrog at the base of the sailing center of the Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 3. The competition was attended by 160 athletes under 19 years of age from more than 20 regions of the Russian Federation. 12 sets of awards were played out.

As reported by branch of the Federal Autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation CSKA (Sevastopol)the hero city was represented at the Spartakiad by ten athletes who took part in races in the classes “Ray-Radial”, “Laser 4.7”, “Optimist”, “Techno”.

Over 5 days, 14 races were held, according to the results of which the Sevastopol team took seventh place.

In the individual competition, silver went to Elizabeth Chekhlata («Laser 4.7», coach — Elena Kravchuk), «bronze» — Dmitry Bolshenko (“Techno”, coach – Alexey Tokarev).
