Sevastopol Youth Theater presents the play “The Tale of Tsar Saltan”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In honor of the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators invites everyone to the premiere showings of the play “The Tale of Tsar Saltan,” based on the fairy tale of the same name.
The production will become a bright event in the cultural life of the city and will be of interest to Sevastopol residents of all ages. Stage director Fyodor Parasyuk, already known to Sevastopol residents from the play “Amphibian Man,” creates a fairy tale that combines magic, poetry music and deep philosophical meaning.
In our performance, a squirrel gnaws pebbles, and thirty-three heroes emerge from the waters, and a star burns in their foreheads. We want to convey to the viewer the great music of poetry. Let the children believe the fairy tale with bated breath, and let the adults sitting next to them see something for themselves. A story of betrayal and forgiveness, separation and meeting, father and son… A story of great love. We are waiting for you to cry and laugh together, and listen together to the great music of the words of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkinsays Fyodor Parasyuk.
The play “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” will be an excellent reason for a family visit to the theater and will open the world of Russian classics from a new side for the audience.
The premiere shows will take place on May 24, 25 and 26. Tickets are available on the SevTYUZ.rf website and at the theater box office, prosp. Gagarina, 16.
