As a result of the operational-search measures, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Yalta established the identity of the suspect and detained the 41-year-old Sevastopolz. It was established that the man visited the store from time to time and when no one was watching him hid the goods taken from the window, after which he hastily left the trading object. Sevastopol admitted his guilt. A search was carried out at the place of his residence, during which the stolen property was seized,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol said.

The Department of Inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yalta opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code «Theft». The sanction of the article provides for the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to two years.

The suspect was chosen by the preventive measure — a subscription about the non -departure and proper behavior.
