The highest All-Russian legal award named after V.A. Musin “For his contribution to the development of energy law” was awarded to the Deputy Chairman of the International Union of Lawyers, a member of the Commission of the Russian Lawyers Association on Energy Law and the Development of Legislation in the Fuel and Energy Complex, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Process at the Law Institute of Sevastopol State University, Candidate of Law Sciences Vyacheslav Gusyakov.
The ceremony of awarding legal prizes took place in the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions. It was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuychenko, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Nikolaevich Falkov, Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin, members of the Presidium, the Board of the Russian Bar Association, many government, political, public figures, representatives scientific, educational organizations, the judicial community, famous lawyers, notaries.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin congratulated lawyers on their professional holiday in a welcoming telegram.
Let us note that Vyacheslav Gusyakov was personally acquainted with the famous Soviet and Russian lawyer, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2008), specialist in the field of civil law, civil procedure and international private law, member of the board of directors of OJSC Gazprom Valery Abramovich Musin.
Our colleague Vyacheslav Gusyakov became the best lawyer in Russia in the field of energy law. Nowadays, energy occupies a significant place in the economy of our country, and any industry needs legal support. Energy law is currently on the rise, it is developing very dynamically, and close attention is being paid to it. This area of legal science is now among the legal top in importance. It is important for us that our teacher, thanks to his scientific works and speeches at international scientific conferences: in Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, China, is recognized as the best lawyer in the Russian Federation in this field. This confirms the high level of our teachers, — says Vladimir Koval, director of the Institute of Law of Northern State University.
Russian Legal Prize named after Valery Abramovich Musin for his contribution to the development of energy law established by the Russian Lawyers Association in 2018 in memory of the famous Russian scientist, lawyer, Doctor of Law — Valery Abramovich Musin (03/28/1939–12/22/2015), is a symbol of recognition of the merits of an outstanding scientist and a sign that the Russian Lawyers Association seeks to support the development legal science.
